Test Drive Questions

What are the limitations of the demo version compared to the full version?

The demo version (Test Drive) includes the full functionality of the "Basic 3" package. It is limited to 3 users and time limited to 48 hours. Your created data will be automatically deleted after the trial period and will no longer be available. The use of special modules, such as "Clinical Objects", is not possible in Test Drive.

What payment methods are available?

Billing is done through your Microsoft account. There you can set the desired payment method. By default, payment is made by credit card.

How can I change the selected plan later?

What happens if I forget my password?

The assignment of a new password can be done directly by your SAMPLES administrator stored in the application. Otherwise you can of course contact our SAMPLES support.

In which languages is Samples available?

Currently you can use SAMPLES in German and English.

How can I change the language of SAMPLES?

The language of SAMPLES depends on your browser settings for the preferred language. For example, if you want to use the German version, please set German as your preferred language in your browser.

SAMPLES is optimized for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari browsers.

Where is data created in SAMPLES stored?

Your data is stored securely on servers in European Microsoft data centers.

Why can't I create master data?

To create master data, you must have the appropriate "Create master data" authorization. This is possible in the role of the laboratory manager. Accordingly, there is a possibility that you log in as a lab manager to create master data. If this is not possible due to your role, you can contact your SAMPLES administrator stored in the application to adjust your permissions.

How can I report a bug?

We are very grateful for feedback on detected errors. Please use the ticket system of our SAMPLES support and add the following background information to your ticket:

What happens if I do not have a connection to the Internet?

SAMPLES is a web application. Data created in SAMPLES is stored online. Therefore, it is important that you make sure you are connected to the Internet while using it.
