Our company takes the protection of personal data very seriously. We want you to know when we store which data and how we use it. When handling and processing personal data, we comply with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the new German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Data protection information on the handling and processing of personal data in accordance with. Art 13 GDPR in conjunction with the transparency requirement acc. Art. 12ff GDPR.

 

Data collection and processing

It is not necessary to provide personal data in order to use the website. Only access data without reference to persons, such as the name of the retrieved file, date and time, the amount of data transferred, the browser type, the user’s operating system, the referrer URL (the previously visited page from which you came to our website) and the IP address are stored. This data does not allow us to draw any conclusions about your person and is used exclusively to optimize our Internet presentation.

However, personal data is only collected if you provide it to us voluntarily, e.g. by making an inquiry via a web form. This data will only be used for the requested purpose or, if applicable, to process contracts concluded with you and will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances.

 

Applicant management at qualitype GmbH

To make it as easy as possible for you to find a job in our company, we offer you access to the applicant management system of jobEconomy GmbH, which accepts your application on our behalf, on our website under the menu item ‘Career’.
You can find all information on applicant management relevant to data protection law under this access. qualitype GmbH has concluded an agreement with jobEconomy GmbH on order processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Art 28 GDPR concluded.

 

Files from external services

This site uses external files to display the website. These include Google Web Fonts, the JavaScript library jQuery and the cookie notice that is displayed the first time the website is accessed.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to the servers of Google, Cloudflare and BootstrapCDN. This gives them knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The files are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR represent.

 

Newsletter

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this.

 

Cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. 1 lit. f GDPR is stored. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

 

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

– Browser type and browser version

– Operating system used

– Referrer URL

– Host name of the accessing computer

– Time of the server request

– IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

 

Data security

qualitype GmbH has taken technical and organizational precautions to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and misuse. The security measures are regularly adapted in line with ongoing technological developments. When transmitting data via the Internet, please note that the confidentiality of the information transmitted cannot be fully guaranteed due to the possibility of manipulation by third parties (e.g. when transmitting content by e-mail).

 

The rights of data subjects

In accordance with Art. 15 ff GDPR, data subjects have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction and objection to the processing of their data.
Furthermore, those affected acc. Art. 13 para. 2 point c GDPR the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data for the future if the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 a or Art. 9 para. 2 a GDPR is based. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
However, a revocation usually means that the purpose for which the data was collected cannot be fulfilled. The written form is required for the exercise of rights. Please contact us by e-mail at info@qualitype.de.

 

Deletion of personal data

Personal data will be deleted if the purpose for storing the data no longer applies and no legal norm (e.g. statutory retention period) prescribes the retention of the data. The provisions of Art. 17 GDPR in conjunction with Section 35 BDSG apply. If deletion is not possible for legal, contractual, commercial or tax reasons, the processing of the data may be restricted at the request of the data subject. The written form is required to exercise the right.

 

The data subject’s right to data portability

The company guarantees the right to data portability in accordance with. Art. 20 GDPR secure. Every data subject has the right to receive a copy of their personal data in a standard machine-readable file format.
